What's on, What's new
Call for Volunteer Management Committee members…
- Is social justice, inclusion and equity important to you?
- Do you want to make a difference?
- Are you committed to empowering people, contributing to change and improvements and sharing your skills and experience?
ECHO is governed by a Volunteer Management Committee which meets on Wednesday afternoon every 1-2 months at the Centre in Bondi Junction. We are looking for professional people who would be able to fill roles on the Management Committee.
We have reviewed the current Management Committee and have recognised that we need people with the following skills:
- Not for profit and/or small business experience
- A Legal genius
- Proven experience in fundraising and tendering
- An ability to contribute to promotions and marketing
- A strategic planning guru with change management experience
- A strong focus on Human Resource Management
Based in Bondi Junction we provide services to the local community with particular attention to those disadvantaged by aged, ability, language, culture and social and economic factors.
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting in early October 2010 so we need to resource the Management Committee with skills, experience and people with a “can do” attitude in the next month or so.
If you are interested in shaping a small community organisation to reach its full potential
please contact Zoë Jack (Manager) on 9387 2885 or via email: manager@echocentre.com.au
