Settlement Grants Program

ECHO Neighbourhood Centre regrets to inform the community that the Settlement Grants Program closed on 30 June 2010. Any person needing Settlement Information will be referred to a suitable organisation.
The Minister for Immigration and Citizenship has advised that Settlement needs have changed across Australia and the demand in the Eastern Suburbs is not high enough to warrant a funded program. Hence our Settlement Grants Program has been defunded.
The Settlement Grants Program has been an important part of ECHO Neighbourhood Centre’s operations to help newly arrived migrants and refugees for the past 14 years. We thank the community for its involvement in the program and its activities and wish everyone all the best.
